Why do bad things happen to good people?

Sometimes....

our relationships are strained
ministry or work is stressful
we experience physical pain
we have finanical trouble
we feel lonely and need companionship
we get tired and need rest

life is just hard!

In the midst of the struggle,
it can be difficult to see the blessings.

But just because we can't see them doesn't mean they are not there.

This devotional reveals an honest and complete picture of what the Bible says about suffering. During this devotional, I understood that, despite the difficult circumstances in our lives God, never leaves us or forsakes us.

For me, anxiety was always a feeling of impending doom. But in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit therapy, with the complements of character, endurance, hope and the love of God, there is the promise that my anxiety will eventually end, and this perspective allows me to rejoice and continue to grow to be a better wife, mom, professional and above all, a better Christian.

So, you lady that is reading this, if you have the chance to hear this devotional series, I can promise you it would give you the tools to see and understand things in a different and positive point of view.

Wow, Session 2 really hit me hard. I'm going through a tough time right now. I feel so exhausted physically and mentally. And I've been looking for endurance in the wrong place. Every word you spoke was as if you watched a movie of my life and you're giving me advice. I've been praying and waiting for everything to change around me, the circumstances, the people. I laughed when you said that because it's like you're talking directly to me.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING...

I was struggling with sexual intimacy with my husband and not feeling content in this marriage and needed encouragement. After listening to this audio devotional series, I felt reassured that God gives us blessings and there will be hard times even in the blessing.
The best part about this devotional was the ease and clarity to understand the verse because life with 4 kids and working from home is hectic, Alison made the devotional practical and easy to follow as well as made it very personable and so that it can fit any scenario. I would definitely say women who need encouragement should listen to this devotional series! This devotional has allowed me to pray and ask for God's help more through my issues in my marriage. We still have issues but I know God is in the midst of this and is going to help us overcome it through His spirit and His love for us. Our marriage is a gift from God and He will not waste it.

Hi! I’m Alison

I am a busy, audacious, outgoing, sometimes irritable, but always blessed, woman. Though I have been a Believer for over a decade, I stopped investing in my relationship with the Lord years ago and found myself discontent and angry. I didn’t WANT to be this way, but I just couldn’t “get happy!”

It wasn’t until I started making time for God and His Word every day, praying to Him unashamedly and listening for His response that things started to change. I have come a long way in my walk with Jesus since then! Now, I want to help other overwhelmed, stressed-out women reclaim their joy through a relationship with Jesus.

No matter where you are in your journey, I am excited to walk along with you!
